Birds and Flowers

Well, Spring has finally sprung. The birds are breeding, the flowers are blooming, After more than a month of one or more people being sick in our house,  hopefully the lurgis are almost behind us too although the sore throats, coughs, and blocked noses seem to be persisting.

To celebrate the arrival of spring, here are some photos I have shot recently of flowers and birds in all their inteliigently-designed glory. The photos were shot around our home in Culcairn, New South Wales, and around the home of my parents-in-law in Rutherglen, Victoria (Australia) …

I don’t know what all those flowers are as I am no botanist, and to be honest I am not so interested in the names as the beauty. The flowers seem to be enthusastically celebrating the arrival of spring with radiant bursts of color.
